The department is proud of its distinguished faculty members, current students, and graduates, many of whom have held senior positions in educational sectors. Since its establishment in 1387 AH, the Department of Educational Policies, formerly known as the Department of Education, has been one of the oldest departments in the College of Education. It is concerned with preparing students in the foundations of the teaching profession, educational policies, and applications of adult education and continuing education at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Throughout its history, the department has contributed to preparing a large number of researchers and qualified educational professionals for the educational field. It offers educational courses at the undergraduate level and academic programs at the master’s and doctoral levels. The department continues to work diligently to improve the quality and outcomes of academic education and to contribute to the development of the educational field.
