❖ About the Unit
The Development and Quality Unit works to spread a culture of quality among the College's staff, develop and implement the College's strategic plans, and provide the necessary support to all teams responsible for implementing quality and documenting their work. It also continuously collects data and information on the College's quality activities and forms work teams for quality-related projects.
◎ Objectives
1 Following up on the implementation of the strategic plan.
2 Communicating with national and international bodies to obtain institutional and academic program accreditation.
3 Participating in defining admission and graduation requirements to ensure the quality of the College's graduates in line with labor market needs.
4 Supporting efforts to benefit from agreements with reputable local, Arab and international universities and colleges, and encouraging cultural and academic exchange programs to achieve the highest levels of quality.
5 Organizing mutual orientation programs between the College and various government and private education sectors to identify areas of cooperation and benefit from expertise exchange programs.
▣ Responsibilities
1 Participating in developing the College's plans to obtain institutional and program accreditation.
2 Following up on the implementation of the College's strategic plan projects.
3 Supervising the preparation of the College's annual report and making use of its findings.
4 Participating in organizational restructuring and proposing administrative frameworks that strengthen the College's work and institutional development in line with its vision and mission.
5 Monitoring the implementation of the quality management system in the College and the extent of departments' commitment to it.
6 Participating in developing the systems and forms used to evaluate the College's activities.
7 Preparing and submitting recommendations and proposals to improve and develop administrative performance.
8 Providing continuous professional development programs for faculty members and their equivalents, as well as all administrative and technical staff.
