About the Council
The Council Secretariat provides full oversight of the College Council's resolutions, minutes, reports, letters, and circulars.
Council Objectives
1
Reviewing the regulations and policies for appointments to the ranks of Teaching Assistant, Lecturer, and Assistant Professor; contracting with Saudi nationals; and recruiting faculty members at the local, regional, and international levels across all academic departments.
2
Working toward a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:20 in courses.
Council Responsibilities
1
Reviewing department memoranda and unit meeting minutes, and identifying the matters that need to be presented to the College Council.

Setting the agenda for College Council meetings.
3
Preparing the minutes of College Council meetings and following up on their approval.
4
Initialing College Council resolutions before they are signed by the Dean.
5
Following up on the implementation of College Council resolutions.
6
Scheduling meetings in coordination with the Council Chair.
